Alison Milner Designer

Alison Milner’s inspiration is the debris on the beach, the waste plot behind the corrugated iron fence and the back of the kitchen drawer.

Alison Milner originally trained in furniture design at the RCA. She now designs usable objects with sustainability and longevity in mind. She also uses photographic and computer manipulated imagery to create decoration with a strong graphic quality and a modern sensibility.

Alison offers a design service for bespoke products to manufacturers, interior designers, architects, museums, galleries and shops.

Her book, 'Inspirational Objects - a visual dictionary of simple elegant forms', was published in 2005; a follow-on exhibition is currently touring the UK.
